| Motor Driver- Cum Mechanic | Essential Qualification:- (i) 10 th pass (ii) Knowledge of Hindi/English (iii) Should possess a valid driving licence for both heavy and light vehicles. The licence should also be valid for hilly areas and it must not have any adverse entries. (iv) Should have a good knowledge of general procedures od daily, weekly, and other type of maintenance of vehicle. (v) Should have adequate knowledge of the works of fitter and should be well conversant with the duties of motor mechanic. (vi) He should be capable of locating defects and repairing thye defects of various components of petrol/diesel engines, lighting system, suspension and steering system, mechanical transmission systems and hydraulic brake systems of motor transport vehicle and should have knowledge of various lubricants and their specific uses. Desirable: (i) Should have 1 year of working experience as motor mechanic in any repair workshop/garage (ii) Should possess a certificate/Diploma in automobile trade from any recognized institute. |
