Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting soochna bhawan, lodhi road New delhi-3, intends to prepare a new panel of artists/Designer/Illustrator for providing professional services like art work, illustration, cover desing-inner page layout design, comic cartoon etc, for its books, journals and employment newspaper to work on casual assignment basis.

Artists/Designer/Illustrator	(i)Degree of bachelor in fine/applied arts from a recognized university/institute OR PG Diploma in fine/Applied arts from a recognized university/institute of technical education or the person should have the portfolio of established reputed work of creatives/design/art work. (ii) The candidates should be experts in in preparing manual illustration/comic design/page layout. (iii) The candidates should have sufficient knowledge of photoshop, indesign,Illustrator,Corel Draw,Quark express (iv) He/She should be well versed on computer application. Experience: (i)The individual experienced freelancer candidates applying for empanelment of Artists/Designer/Illustrator must be having 3 year of experience. (ii)The anency which intends to apply for the same must have minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field and give atleats one profile of artist having the above mentioned qualification.

Empanelled freelance candidates, students or agencies will be responsible for praparing line drawing illustration and coloring in black and white illustration.
color manual and computerized story based illustration for story books/journals.
cover design or inner page design and layouts for books/journals.
Designing of magazines and making of comics.
color manual and computerized page layout of employment news paper.

Engagement of Artists/Designer/Illustrator will be casual and day to day assignment basis as per following rates:

Rates for Art work/cartoon/drawing/Illustration:
- Rs.1000/- per item
- max Rs.10000/- for 1-14 items
- Max Rs.15000/- for 15-20 items
- Max Rs.20000/- for 21-25 items
- Max Rs.25000/- for 26-30 items
Rates for cover design involving art work or artistic design :
- Rs.5000/-(front and back cover)
- Rs.2500/-(if only one cover designed)
